Serang – Candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, said that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is a figure who promotes unity.

Prabowo said this when attending the Ndaru Bersholawat event “Seribu Ulama – Sejuta Santri Menuju Pemilu Damai Indonesia Maju” held at Maulana Yusuf Stadium, Serang, Banten, on Saturday (27/1).

“I once had a long rivalry with him (Jokowi). I was once a rival of Pak Jokowi. But, when he won, he never hurt his opponent, he didn’t want to. He even followed the teachings of our ancestors, which is to win without hurting. Win, invite everyone to unite, and that is my determination,” said Prabowo.

“I also want to win without hurting. I want to win for the people of Indonesia. I want to win to serve the nation and the state of Indonesia,” he continued.

On the same occasion, Prabowo also reiterated his commitment to building Indonesia into an advanced and prosperous country if elected in the 2024 Presidential Election. One of them is by preparing a program of free lunch and milk for Indonesian children.

“We already have a work plan, we have already reviewed it. One of the first steps as soon as we get the mandate, once inaugurated, we will immediately work by providing nutritious food for all Indonesian children,” he said.

Indonesia, he added, is a rich country with great potential. Indonesia’s wealth should be felt by all its people.

“We will manage all of Indonesia’s wealth so that it can be enjoyed by all the people of Indonesia,” he said firmly.

Meanwhile, discussing the potential of the nation, Prabowo said that Indonesia has the potential to produce green fuel independently. The fuel will come from palm oil, where Indonesia is able to produce as much as 47 million tons annually.

“We have everything to become a wealthy country. We may be the only country that no longer needs to import fuel. We will produce our fuel in Indonesia. From where? The fuel will come from our palm oil. Our palm oil, we can turn it into fuel. The fuel will then become the cleanest fuel in the world, not polluting the environment,” explained Prabowo.

With the great potential it has, Prabowo is also optimistic that in the future Indonesia will be able to produce domestically made cars.

“We will make cars in Indonesia. We have already made an Indonesian-made jeep, called Maung,” he concluded. (SENOPATI)
