Jakarta – Prabowo Subianto, the president-elect for the 2024-2029 period, urges voters, supporters, and volunteers of Prabowo-Gibran to prioritize the integrity and unity of the Indonesian nation by not conducting mass actions at the Constitutional Court (MK) building.
“I, Prabowo Subianto, earnestly request the Indonesian people, especially the 96.2 million Indonesians who have voted for the Prabowo-Gibran pair, not to take any actions in front of the MK building or elsewhere to maintain the tranquility of democracy, to safeguard the unity and integrity of the nation,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo said he understands the accusations made by others, but he urges all his supporters to remain calm and peaceful.
“We understand that supporters of Prabowo-Gibran are truly disturbed and have quite a touching reaction, but we ask the supporters of the Prabowo-Gibran pair who have exercised their voting rights to always be alert and careful, and not to be provoked, especially by those who create an atmosphere of unrest and unease,” said Prabowo.
By practicing restraint and not reacting, according to Prabowo, does not mean being weak, but rather prioritizing the interests of the people and the nation to maintain the unity of Indonesia.
“I reiterate, let us remain calm, composed, restrain ourselves, allow institutions to let the judges of the MK (Constitutional Court) to carry out their noble duties wisely, always prioritizing the interests of the Indonesian people for the beloved Indonesian nation,” Prabowo concluded.
