Garrett Mitchell, also known as Cleetus McFarland on YouTube, is gearing up for his NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts debut at Rockingham, known as one of the most challenging oval tracks in the sport. Driving the #33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, a respected team with a rich history and the reigning NOAPS driver champions through Jesse Love, Cleetus is set for a three-race deal in 2026 and 2027, with potential races at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. Tommy’s Express will be supporting the endeavor, making McFarland a teammate to Love and Austin Hill, who currently hold the top two spots in the championship standings.
As someone with a YouTube channel nearing five million subscribers, Cleetus McFarland is transitioning from content creator to professional stock car racer. Despite a crash in his ARCA debut at Daytona last year, he competed in four ARCA races during the 2025 season, achieving top-ten finishes at Talladega and Charlotte, where he secured his best finish of ninth place. In February, he ventured into the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Niece Motorsports, but crashed early on, ending the race in 37th place. The upcoming North Carolina Education Lottery 250 at Rockingham is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, Easter Weekend, with Kasey Kahne being behind the wheel of the #33 car at Rockingham last year.
