Kaulig Racing has officially named Carson Ferguson as the driver of their No. 25 Ram 1500 ‘free agent’ truck for the upcoming NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Bristol. Ferguson, an accomplished dirt racer, will be making his debut in the series at Bristol, following his runner-up finish in the ‘Ram: Race for the Seat’ competition. Although he narrowly missed out on becoming the full-time driver for Kaulig’s No. 14 truck in the 2026 season, Ferguson will now join forces with Mini Tyrrell as teammates for the upcoming race.
Throughout this season, Kaulig Racing has rotated various drivers in the No. 25 truck, including Tony Stewart, Colin Braun, Ty Dillon, and Corey LaJoie. The team has been utilizing this strategy to maintain a diverse and competitive driver lineup. As part of Ram’s return to NASCAR, Kaulig is fielding a total of five trucks and is still in the process of catching up to the competition. Despite the challenges, the organization has secured three top-ten finishes, with ARCA champion Brenden Queen achieving the team’s best result of seventh place at Daytona. Additionally, Braun finished ninth at St. Petersburg, and Justin Haley claimed the tenth spot at Atlanta.
